Our Mission

Armenian-American Action Network is a community organization fighting anti-Armenian racism, teaching Armenian-American history, and forwarding civil rights, immigrant rights, and refugee rights for Armenian and all communities in the United States. Founded in 2021—We fight and document instances of anti-Armenian discrimination and work for representation, equity, and power for the Armenian-American community.

justice for all.

Our vision

Armenian-American Action Network is grassroots organization organization committed to movement-building toward just, equitable futures for Armenian communities in the United States, immigrants, refugees, and allies. We address the needs and issues of Armenian communities in the United States through effective advocacy, services, and research. We are fighting for a world free from anti-Armenian racism in the United States, and transnationally.

Armenian-American Action Network is committed to dismantling anti-Armenian racism, educating our communities and allied communities, and building coalitional solidarity for justice across generations and organizations in the United States. We build joint struggle and grassroots power.

We believe in harnessing our collective power. We organize through culture, community, and action for social justice. We build power around core issues for Armenian-Americans, immigrants, and refugees, and deep grassroots organizing to secure real wins. We welcome opportunities for collaboration and dialogue with all organizations, individuals, and advocates whose work aligns with our organizing principles.

We forward an inclusive approach to Armenian identity as we work on advocacy, research and social services with and for our community here in the United States. Simultaneously, we believe the political future of the United States and the South West Asia North Africa (SWANA) region requires Armenian-led organizing, as Armenians face multiple and compounded levels of oppression as Indigenous people, refugees and immigrants both in the diaspora and in our region. Our vision for the Armenian-American community is pro-LGBTQIA, pro-Black, pro-undocumented folks, uplifts women’s leadership, and believes in a community that is safe and welcoming.

We build both campaign-driven work and community engagement. Welcome, join us!
