Fighting for Armenians Impacted By Executive Order 13769

#noban

Executive Order 13769, often labeled the "Muslim ban", or commonly referred to as the Trump travel ban, was a controversial executive order by U.S. President Donald Trump. Despite it’s name in popular media, thousands of ethnic Armenians were impacted by the Ban.

The United States banned nationals of Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen, and more in following iterations, tearing apart families, denying exit and entry to thousands of people, and unleashing racial profiling and detention throughout the United States and abroad.

Armenians and Armenian families in the United States and transnationally were impacted by E.O. 13769.

We in coalition with dozens of immigrant and civil rights groups are demanding reparation for these policies and their impacts.
