Who Remembers? Armenian-Palestinian Solidarities

Who remembers the Armenians? Who remembers the Palestinians? We do. Join us on December 10 for a reading that convenes Armenian and Palestinian writers to denounce the normalization of genocidal violence, in solidarity with those under siege in Gaza and amidst the mass displacement and refugee crisis of Artsakh. Through the reading of poems, fiction, and personal essays, this event will address interlocking historical injustices affecting Palestinians and Armenians. It’s staged in opposition to Islamophobia, anti-Arab racism, antisemitism, and anti-Armenian racism, in recognition that there can be no justice until all are free. Learn more and register at the link in our bio.

Featuring Mashinka Firunts Hakopian, Nancy Kricorian, Micaela Kaibni Raen, Mae Serhan, Sophia Armen, and more.

This reading is co-hosted by the International Armenian Literary Alliance (@arm.lit), PalFest (@palfest), RAWI, Mizna (@mizna_arabart), Fikra (@fikra_magazine), and Armenian-American Action Network (@armenianamericanactionnetwork).

The reading is a fundraiser for Palestine Legal and for All For Armenia.
