We, the Armenian-American Action Network, join the Asian-American community in the mourning of the lives lost in the greater Atlanta area in Georgia, that included six Asian women. We stand in solidarity and reaffirm our commitment to the fight against white supremacy, anti-Asian racism and patriarchal violence. We know these forces can only be dismantled through our joined struggle and solidarity.
As community advocates against racism, we cannot remain silent on the violence against our Asian American and Pacific Islander American family. We express our sympathies to the loved ones of those lost and call upon our leaders to address this urgent crisis.
